Week ending 2026-07-19 focused on developing two confirmed vulnerability fixes, reviewing additional security work, and starting CVE metadata and prenotification prep for the August release, plus iteration on EmailValidator error customization. Week ending 2026-07-26 added hands-on ops incident response for abuse in the djangoproject.com account registration flow, including pausing email sending and adding a reCAPTCHA.
